Heal your body as you sleep

  • Eat a light meal in the evening, and stop eating two hours before bed.
  • Consider eating a small baked potato as part of your evening meal. This calms the energy of the brain and pancreas, helps balance hormone energy, and helps the body relax.
  • Don’t drink any tea, coffee, or alcohol at least two hours before bed.
  • Avoid watching violent movies or TV shows before sleep. “As you sleep, those images are still processing in your brain, in every cell in your body,” Chunyi says, “It can prevent you from having a peaceful sleep.”
  • Before bed, take a hot bath filled with a handful of sea salt, or soak your feet in a basin of hot water with three tablespoons of sea salt.
  • Go to sleep and wake up the same time every day to allow your body to align with its natural body clock.
  • Sleep on your right or left side or on your back. This helps balance the Qi better. When sleeping on your side bend your knees, Chunyi says, “and sleep like a shrimp, or like a baby in the womb.”
  • Avoid sleeping on your stomach, which can cause your neck to twist and energy blockages to develop gradually in your body.
  • Put a smile on your face as you close your eyes. Smiling causes your brain to send out endorphins that help you feel good.
  • Visualize you are sleeping in the cradle of the moon.
  • Relax your body from head to toe, breathing slowly, deeply, and gently.
  • Focus your attention on your lower dantian, the energy center deep behind the navel. Imagine bright, loving energy there. Send unconditional love energy to your lungs and to any part of your body where you have pain. Allow your body to feel the love.
  • Send a message to your body. For example, say to yourself, “Tonight I will sleep in eight hours of Qigong meditation. Tomorrow when I wake, all my channels are open. All the blockages in my body are gone. I am completely healed, and I feel happy and healthy.”
  • When you wake in the morning, don’t spring out of bed right away. Lie still as you take three deep breaths. Then rub your hands and massage your face. Massage your ears. Then get up and enjoy your day.

When you sleep well and feel peace in your body,” Chunyi says, “every cell has time to rejuvenate. The next morning you wake up with good energy and are ready to go!”

Creating Narratives And How Mind Mapping Can Aid Authors

When creating a strong and interesting narrative, the author must answer of series of important questions. Among these questions are: What will the narrative be about? Who are your main characters in the narrative? What conflict will surround the characters? Mind Mapping is an effective tool that authors can use when creating a narrative, because it provides an effective way to organize the main characters, themes, and key conflicts in the narrative. With Mind Mapping, the author can make use of colors, visual images, words, and symbols to more easily outline his or her thoughts surrounding the narrative.

How A Narrative Mind Map Is Created?

A narrative Mind Map should consist firstly of the main idea or theme of the narrative, represented by a central image located in the center of the map. Next, the supporting themes surrounding the main idea, such as the characters or locations that will be central to the narrative, can be listed on branches that are attached to the central image. The conflicts among characters can then be listed on child branches connecting the characters involved in the conflicts. Lastly, the topics least important to the main idea of the narrative, such as minor storylines or characters, can be shown on twigs that are attached the branches. In putting together a Mind Map in this manner, the author can use whatever images, words, colors, or symbols he or she wishes to bring, life to the themes, character, and ideas for his or her topic.

Comparing a Traditional Narrative Outline and Mind Map of a Narrative

A traditional narrative outline will most often present the main theme of the narrative, as well as the characters, locations, and conflicts found in the narrative, linearly. Consider the following Chapter One outline of an author who has used a traditional layout:

Contrast this outline with a Mind Map of Chapter One of the narrative, represented in the attached Mind Map diagram. In the Mind Map diagram, the themes, characters, and conflicts of the narrative are presented spatially, and are spread across the page. Moreover, while the traditional outline includes only text, the Mind Map incorporates not only text, but images, colors, and graphics as well. The result is a more visually stimulating diagram of the main themes, characters, and conflicts, making them easier to conceptualize.

Writing a Narrative from the Mind Map

Both the traditional outline and the Mind Map can be used as a jumping off point for the actual writing of the narrative. However, consider the visual imagery and spatial depth of the Mind Map; the Mind Map engages the writers brain in a more creative manner, and allows him or her to more actively visualize the narrative as seen in the minds eye. By allowing the author to visualize his or her narrative in this manner, the Mind Map provides him or her with a more intuitive transition to the actual writing of the narrative. The process of outlining the narrative and writing the narrative are thus linked in one creative process, and the development of the story can evolve more naturally.

A Tip On Growing More Productive

If you can produce more and grow mentally, physically, spiritually and financially, would you want much more in life? I guess not.

So what’s the secret to getting that in your overworked, stressed-out daily routine? Let me give you the answer right here and now. Exercise.

Yes it’s that simple. Exercise.

Now you say, hold it buddy, what does exercise have to do with productivity or growth? Exercise has only to do with being physically strong and perhaps fit, but neither do I have time for that nor the inclination as there are many other mental, spiritual and financial priorities.

So here’s where I begin explanation. You see, the progression we humans make in our growth is 4-step. The body… the mind… thoughts and… spirit. If the body is exercised it is supple and light, therefore devoid of grossness. Once that is not gross, our mind is not gross. For example, if a block of ice is free of dirt, the water that melts from it is free from dirt. Now with the mind free, the thoughts are energized, purer, and they come and move faster. Consequently the spirit responds faster and more instinctively, making for quick decisions which are usually the right ones.

So let’s look at the math of this. If you exercise 30 minutes a day, you could make decisions that took hours in minutes. That’s a saving of a few hours every day, depending on how many decisions your position of responsibility demands you to make. All you need do is understand this progression, believe this secret and prioritize your time to bend, stretch, pushup or walk about a bit. Climb the stairs, touch your toes, rotate your neck, press your palms down to the table and push the body forward and back. Do small things that build you up for more reps in less time as you go along. Increase productivity and growth!

How to make more money by spending more

I already have a fan club of people who think I’ve totally lost it. This topic will add fuel to their coffee table discussions :-)

But what am I to do? I come across these people everyday… like I did last night… who look at a bottle of supplements and exclaim, "700 bucks! I can’t afford that."

Now all of us living in the new paradigm know that this is a self-fulfilling prophecy. He can’t (and won’t) afford that. But over the next 3 months (that’s how long the supplements would last) he would get a wrong-parking ticket and wind up paying the same amount… heaven knows from where! Or he’d spend that on his cigarettes without batting an eyelid.

If you relate with such habitual or unforeseen expenses all the time, just know that the following 3 points are not my theory. They are researched facts that I have come across at many a seminar. And I have experienced them first-hand.

And the first of the facts is, "when you first consciously increase the pivot point (rough monthly average) of your expenses, the pivot point of your earnings also increases." It just follows. Money comes in and keeps coming in as long as you stay consciously aware of the step-ups of your expenses.

This is a metaphysical reality and it always works. Wealth moves in its own ways. Don’t you remember the days you survived (quite well) on an income about one-fifth of today’s? If you are not faring hugely better in lifestyle terms now, it’s probably because your money consciousness has plummeted because you have ‘got sensible’ about life. Consequently you have pulled yourself away from the universal source and depend more on the personal (ego’s) production capacity. Obviously the latter is less.

However there is a physical reality to this aspect of making more money as well. And that lies in understanding where you are spending your money. Are you spending it in a system where it will never return? Or are you spending it in a system where it could come back to you?

Expenses at a store are examples of non-returning outflows. Expenses in a network marketing environment , or financial instrument, are of the nature that return to the spender manifold. As long as you respect the rules of the system you’re spending the money in, you shall have predictable results. Put your head into it for 6 to 12 months. You shall not end up a pauper… that is guaranteed… but you just might become a whole lot wiser… and that’s for life!

The third fact, insofar as organic supplements (or any other high quality products) are concerned, is another physical reality. And this is about shifting fixed expenses by trusting the aforementioned metaphysical principle. What does this mean?
